It’s a wrap! May 10th saw the kick-off of a new season of Get Real with Braze in Jakarta. The theme for this year’s event is “Now More Than Ever”—bringing attendees insights, solutions, and best practices in customer engagement that can help businesses build resilience and growth in the world today, something that is needed now, more than ever.
From an exciting inspiration pod where our attendees were able to ask their burning business questions, to riveting panel discussions, an engaging demo session and fireside chats, this event brought to life what it means to engage with a like-minded community full of people interested in driving value for their customers. Our esteemed speakers discussed a wide variety of topics, bringing to the table a wealth of experience and knowledge, providing actionable advice that attendees could take back with them and implement right away.
Our Vice President of APAC, Julia Lee, got the ball rolling, sharing a bright viewpoint on how we're all facing macro challenges and evolving customer demands, but the “stars are aligned for Indonesia” in the digital space. Brands who are listening to their customers know that marketing technology is an investment, and how the right technology can empower greater connection and creativity. She showcased brands doing it right and provided actionable solutions that empowered attendees to take on the digital landscape with confidence.
From Muhammad Rendi Nugraha, CMO at LinkAja and Timothius Martin, CMO at Pintu, we learned about the importance of pivoting your business in challenging times, and exactly how the focus on marketing technology is an important investment that pays off in the long run.
The panel featuring Ignatius Untung, SVP, Marketing at Sayurbox and Arshad Rahman, CEO (Indonesia) at Merkle, brought with it some eye-opening questions exploring the very nature of customer engagement. Ignatius and Arshad shared insights into different industries, how the landscape has evolved, and what are some very realistic business goals we can aim for.
We also got an exclusive look into the personal journey of a CTO, thanks to an exclusive conversation with Pinhome CTO and Cofounder Ahmed Aljunied. He shared his thoughts on marketing technology and advised attendees on how to shift gears effectively to respond to a challenging macro-environment.
